Community Rules

Random video chat only works when the person on the other side feels safe enough to stay. These rules exist for that reason. Calls, messages and profiles are all covered.

last updated October 1, 2026

Be someone worth talking to

  • Open with a hello rather than a demand. A question about where someone is calling from goes further than a comment about how they look.
  • If the other person taps next, let it go. Nobody owes anyone a conversation.
  • Keep your camera on your face, not pointed at the floor or a screen.

Never allowed

  • Nudity, sexual behaviour or sexual talk of any kind.
  • Anyone under 18 on camera, including in the background.
  • Threats, slurs, hate speech or harassment based on who someone is.
  • Showing weapons, drugs, self-harm or violence.
  • Recording or rebroadcasting a stranger without their clear agreement.
  • Asking for money, gift cards, crypto, coins or personal documents.
  • Promoting other sites, accounts, products or services.

Reporting

Every chat screen carries a report button. Use it, then tap next; you do not need to argue first. A person reviews the report along with the call record. Blocking someone removes them from your future matches straight away, whether or not you also report them.

What happens next

Depending on what happened we may warn, restrict features, suspend or permanently ban an account. Serious harm to minors is passed to the relevant authorities. Repeat offenders who come back with new accounts are banned again.

Look after yourself too

A first chat is no place for your surname, home address, school, job or social accounts. More habits that help are collected in our safety tips.
