How do I start an Okedoo video chat?
Open Okedoo, allow the camera and microphone when your browser asks, and tap Start match. Video is the default mode, so the next screen is a live one-on-one call with a random stranger.
Can I make a video call with no sign-up?
Yes. Every visitor starts on a guest session that Okedoo sets up by itself, which makes a video call with no sign-up or login the normal way in. Linking an account only helps if you want coins, follows and messages to follow you to another device.
Is every call really one-on-one?
Always. Each call is you and one stranger, with no group calls, rooms or onlookers. To meet more people, tap next and the matcher pairs you with someone new.
Can I voice chat with a stranger instead?
Yes. Switch the mode to voice before tapping Start match; the camera remains off until that call ends. Your voice goes through; your picture does not. Switch back to video before the following match whenever you like.
Can I choose who appears on my video call?
Matching is random and does not filter by gender, age or country. To choose, browse the Who's online page, open a profile and follow that person; private calls to someone you follow use coins.
Why is my camera black?
Usually the browser has not been given camera permission, or another app is using the camera already. Tap the lock icon in the address bar, allow camera and microphone, close any meeting apps, then reload Okedoo.
Does Okedoo record video calls?
Okedoo does not broadcast or publish your call. What we keep is the call's time, mode and duration, along with any material filed in a report. The other person could still capture their own screen, so keep personal details off camera.
What does a random video call cost?
Okedoo is free to start: new visitors get free video matches, and the Reward Center adds more while you stay online. Longer sessions and private calls use coins after that.
